Walking in Nature Provide Positive Impact on Health

People who participated in the study were divided into two groups that spent some time in the nature by walking.

Scientific studies, conducted by a team of experts led by Prof. Gregory Bratman at Stanford University, analyzed the 38 persons who lived in urban areas and never before suffered from any form of mental disorder.

One group walked 90 minutes in a natural ambient, and the other in a very busy street, after which they answered the questions from the questionnaire that scientists could assess the possible association with negative feelings such as depression.

The American Study results have shown that people who have spent 90 minutes walking in the countryside have expressed negative fall of their feelings.

This research has given us a very reliable results that the time spent in nature, even briefly, causing less of thinking that is connected, in certain cases, and with mental illnesses such as depression – said Bratman, who led the study, reports “Anadolu Agency”.
