Black vs. White Grapes: Do You Know Which One is Better for You?

GRAPS
The grapes for centuries were considered as the king of the fruit regardless of the color of their skin.

These delicious fruits contain valuable vitamins and minerals, and other nutrients that have positive effect on health

Black grapes

Black grape is rich with the antioxidant – resveratrol, which has a beneficial effect on the human body, especially the cardiovascular system.

Resveratrol prevents blood clotting and paralysis of the heart muscle, stimulate circulation, alleviates inflammatory bowel disease, and has beneficial effect in diabetes.

The black grapes are anthocyanins and flavonoids that fight free radicals in the body, and also contain significant amounts of beta carotene, magnesium, copper, calcium and iron as well as vitamins C, K and E.

White grapes

White grape doesn’t have as many nutrients as the black, but that does not mean that it should be avoided.

Moreover, it is a good source of vitamins A, C and K, as well as some minerals such as calcium and iron.

Nutritionists point out that this fruit solves problems with digestion, but also that there is less of oxalic acid from red grapes which some studies have linked with the formation of kidney stones.

In moderate amounts, however, both are a good ally of a healthy diet.
